Starting a health and wellness brand sounds exciting — but success often lies in the finer details. Understanding how minimum order quantities (MOQ), packaging, label printing, and payment terms work will help you avoid costly mistakes and set up your business the right way from the start.

1. Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ)

Let’s make this crystal clear:
MOQ means Minimum Order Quantity — the smallest amount of a single product that can be ordered or produced.

When the MOQ is 40 units per product, it means:

Each product requires its own production run, raw materials, and packaging setup. Splitting MOQs between different products simply isn’t possible.

Website orders:
Website white label orders have a minimum of 5 units per product.
These are already produced in larger retail batches, which makes them perfect for quicker access, market testing, or launching your brand with minimal upfront cost.

Why this matters:
Understanding MOQs helps small businesses budget properly, plan inventory, and prevent production delays caused by misunderstanding order terms.

2. Packaging & Customization

Everyone dreams of fully customized bottles, jars, or droppers — but packaging suppliers have their own MOQs, often in the hundreds or thousands per size or color.

That’s why Easy Slimming provides professionally packaged standard options — allowing entrepreneurs to get started fast without worrying about sourcing packaging in bulk.

If you want to handle packaging yourself, you can also order bulk ingredients, for example:

  • 1 kg of body scrub
  • 5 L of oil blend
  • Capsules supplied in bulk count

This gives you flexibility and creative control while still keeping costs efficient.

3. Label Printing & Design Costs

Easy Slimming does not print or design labels in-house — this is outsourced to our trusted printing partner.

Label costs vary depending on size, shape, and quantity:

  • Pricing typically ranges from R7 to R35 per label.
  • Odd or custom sizes (e.g. 4 cm x 9 cm) can still cost around R8.20 each.
  • For best value, print 100 labels per product/design — not 100 split across multiple items.

Printing in bulk drastically reduces your cost per label and ensures color and finish consistency.

4. Lead Times & Delivery

Our production and delivery timeframes usually range between 14 and 24 business days, depending on product type, customization, and ingredient availability.

We offer door-to-door delivery across South Africa, or you can arrange your own courier if preferred.

5. Payment Terms & Samples

Payment:
All orders require full payment before production begins, as each batch is made specifically for your brand.

Samples:
We don’t provide free samples, and here’s why:
Samples are often expected to be cheaper or identical to our retail-quality products, which defeats the purpose of offering a retail range for quality testing.

You’re welcome to purchase any of our retail white label items to test before committing to wholesale — these are the exact same products we produce for white label clients.

From a technical side, our extrusion and blending machines can’t run at “sample size.”

  • Capsule machines require at least 1,200 capsules per batch
  • Bath salts 7 Body Scrub minimum run = 10 kg
  • Oils = minimum 5 L per filling run

This makes small-batch “samples” impractical and extremely costly to produce individually.

6. Supplier Relationship & Responsibility

Buying Easy Slimming white label products means we are your supplier, not your business partner or stock manager.

We don’t manage your inventory, monitor sales, or handle your customer marketing.
Once your stock leaves our facility, it becomes your responsibility to store, label, and manage properly.

Of course, in the rare case of a genuine recall o product issue, we will always assist and liaise directly with our manufacturing managers — but day-to-day operations and brand management remain fully under your control.

7. Final Thoughts

Building a successful wellness brand requires a solid understanding of logistics and realistic planning.
By learning how MOQs, packaging, and label production work, you’ll save time, money, and frustration — while maintaining the professional standard your clients deserve.
